Like most, I identify as an avid bread connoisseur. From French loaves and baguettes to boules of sourdough and ciabatta, I love it all. With that being said, last weekend, I took my hand at making my very own loaf of delicious focaccia for the first time, and it was divine! In the past, I have struggled with bread coming out too gummy and issues with yeast activation, but this time, I was able to make a soft, supple loaf of garlicky, crispy focaccia with no problems thanks to this recipe from https://alexandracooks.com/2018/03/02/overnight-refrigerator-focaccia-best-focaccia/. Her recipe provided a comprehensive overview of ingredients, processes, and helpful tips that I'm sure will prove helpful to you as well!

First step, gather the ingredients! The recipe is very simple and only calls for all-purpose flour, water, olive oil, yeast, and salt. I also added oregano, rosemary, thyme, and garlic for extra flavor.

Once, I formed the dough, I let it rise and rest!

Once the dough was finished proofing in the bowl, I put it in a pan and topped with olive oil, garlic, rosemary, thyme, and flaky salt. Yum!

I popped the loaf in the oven and let the bread do its magic! It came out so delicious, flavorful, and crispy yet supple and soft.

The perfect bite! Bon Appétit!!!
